The dinner for tonight will be at the boat docks pavilion (by the golf course.) People are invited to come at 5:30 for socializing. Dinner will be at 6:30 with a program to follow. It is for adults only and costs $15/person.

Tomorrow morning's Fun Run for Mr. Call will begin at 8:00, although you'll have to be registered to participate. Registration will begin at 7:00 am and be $15/person. You are invited to brings your kids and push them in strollers or have them walk alongside you. Kids 5 and under are free (but be aware, they will not be getting a t-shirt.) Many local businesses have donated prizes that we will be raffling off during the event.

The family lunch will be held on Saturday at Storybook Park. 11:00 There won't be extra food as the order has already been placed, but bring your own picnic and come and join us.

We have one week left until the big event! We are hoping that many of you are planning on coming. Due to logistical reasons of paying the caterer and needing a head count...we need your money now. If you are still planning on attending, please pay NO LATER than Monday, August 10th via paypal. Please don't send any checks. Click on the paypal link to the right to pay. Make sure to specify which events you are paying for. If you are unable to pay by the 10th, you are still welcome to attend the festivities. Please be prepared to bring your own picnic or eat before hand as we will not have enough food for those who haven't paid beforehand. Thanks for understanding!

If you don't live in the area, and you'd still like to be involved do our virtual Fun Run. Just mail in the registration form, an additional $3.00 for us to mail you the shirt, and you'll be set to get out on the 15th for a 5K course of your choice. Make sure to include your physical address so we know where to ship your shirt.

Hey all you ninety-niners, put your life on hold and mark your calendars for August 14th and 15th. We are having our 10 year reunion! Can you believe it, 10 years already?

Holly, Sara, and Karisa have been working on some tentative plans.
Here they are . . .drumroll please. . . .
Friday (14th)- Adult dinner at the boat docks
It's going to be really casual and laid back. You've done enough work to get here (trying to reverse the past 10 years effects- like diets and Rogaine treatments) we didn't think it needed to be stuffy and stressful. We've got some great food lined up.
Saturday morning- 5K benefit fun run for Mr. Call
If you haven't heard, he's been battling cancer, so we wanted to help out.

Bring your little brood to Storybook Park and show them off. We're having lunch by Taco Bandido

We've got the groundwork laid out, now we just need some man power to pull of the events.
Volunteer for a committee (or two or three) today!

If you'd be interested in playing detective, wearing trenchcoats, and tracking down classmates, we've got just the place for you. Bring your super sluthing skills to the Public Relations Committee. We'll need a lot of help in getting the word out.

Are you a philanthropist at heart, just looking for a way to contribute to the greater good? We'll put you to work on the Mr. Call 5K committee. (No running experience required.)
-we're looking for Event sponsors, a t-shirt design, route planning

Maybe you'd rather show up {early} and be put to work. We could arrange for that. We need help on the Venues Committee (like decorations, setting up, or clean up.)

After high school I went to Ricks College and got my associates degree. Then I met my husband, John, and we got married. I worked for a little while in Provo, then we went back to Rexburg and I got my bachelors degree in public health. Now we're living the exciting life in Salt Lake City. We have a little boy, Matthew, who makes me smile every day. When I'm not busy chasing him around, I work in the outpatient clinic for the neurosurgery department at Primary Children's Medical Center two days a week. I'm looking forward to the reunion, it will be nice to see everyone again.

Bobcats in the front---let me hear you grunt!...you know the rest. I have repeated this memorable Burley High cheer to my husband a few times and he looks at me like I attended high school on a different planet. Especially when you add the hip thrusts at the end with the 'Bobcats uh, Bobcats uh, Bobcats, uh, uh, uh!

Life is amazing! I graduated from Boise State University in 2004 with a Public Relations/Commnications BA. I briefly attended school in Portland, OR in 2002 where I met my husband Joel. Joel and I dated for 3 years and were married in 2005. We currently live in Boise, ID. I work as a Food Broker for Albertsons and Joel works as the Operations Manager for Bridge City Legal, a Litigation Support Company. In my work, I represent (broker for) over 50 food manfacturers in setting up pricing, promotions and schematics in 250 Albertsons stores across the Intermountain and Northwest Divisions.
In March 2007 Joel and I were entrusted with our most important job-PARENTS!! Ruby came into our world and shook things up. She's has an amazing sense of humor and an endless energy. We're expecting baby #2 in mid-June of 2009. We enjoy all things outdoors including: Mountain Biking, Snowboarding, Camping and Fishing. We also love entertaining, listening to live music and traveling.
I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone at the 10 year reunion!

My wife Candace and I are currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah after we both graduated from Utah State University. I graduated in Theatre Education and my wife graduated in Watershed and Earth Systems (Natural Resources). I am currently teaching Drama at Skyline High School in Salt Lake and pursuing my Master's Degree from Central Washington University. My wife is currently the Aquatic Nuisance Species Biologist for the Northern Utah Region of the Department of Wildlife resources. We have a daughter, Shiloh, who will be 2 in February and we are having so much fun watching her learn and grow. After living in Washington D.C. for two years, I returned to Idaho to attend Idaho State University. I married my high school sweetheart, Emily, in 2002. Surprisingly, I am a nurse and have also been in the Air National Guard since high school graduation. I am currently working in Pocatello at a behavioral health rehabilitation home. We have two boys, Elliot and Gabriel. I have traveled a lot in the guard, most recently to Arizona/Mexico border to continue construction on a vehicle barricade. In November, I will attend military schooling for 6 months to train for yet another job. Following that, I hope to continue my nursing education at ISU. We plan to live in Pocatello for a while, but would like to move out of the city. I really enjoy home improvement projects, but only the ones that I pick. In the last couple of weeks, I have painted the exterior and replaced our roof (stupid Idaho wind!), and remodeled the kitchen, sort of. Emily is still waiting for me to complete that project. Since High School I have developed a love of Spanish and I have been fortunate to live, study, and work in various Spanish speaking countries. I attended Idaho State University where I received degrees in both Business Management and Spanish. While at I.S.U. I worked as an interpreter for the court system and for the local hospital. I also met my incredible wife, Amy, who is from Caldwell, ID; we were married in 2005. Currently I am finishing a master's degree in healthcare administration at the University of Michigan and I recently accepted a position at a health system in Fort Collins, CO. We've loved living in Michigan but we're also excited to return to the West.

I went to Utah State for a semester before taking a break for a year. I ended up transferring to Idaho State University where I received a BA in Secondary Education--English in December 2004. I met my husband, Clint Heward, in 2002, and we were married in May 2003. We live in "downtown" Declo, Idaho where I teach ninth and eleventh grade English and coach JV volleyball. I love my job--I love working with the kids and being so involved in what they do--sports, drama, dances--it is a worthwhile job. I hear I'm a bit of a drill sergeant, but what do they expect when I look like a student myself? This is my third year teaching, but only my second year at Declo. My first teaching job was for sixth grade language arts and math. Yikes--I was terrified. During the summers I work for the BLM fighting wildland fires. This will be my sixth and hopefully last summer doing this job. Of course, I've said that every summer for the past five years. This job does help me stay in shape--I run everyday rain, shine, or holidays. No kids just yet, but we are proud parents of three dogs and a cat. Reading other classmates' blogs I think, "man, I didn't get very far away from Burley." but it is nice living close to both our families--and let's face it--I do enjoy this area. I stay busy with school, and my summers are shot with the fire season, but when I can I do spend time in mountains with family and having get togethers with our friends. Where did the years go? Can't believe it's been nearly ten years.

I am currently living in New Jersey where I'm in the second year of the graduate acting program at Rutgers University. I met my beautiful wife, Chrislynn, at Utah State University. We met doing a play for the Old Lyric Repertory Company (we played husband and wife). Chrislynn is an actress, a scenic designer and artist, and a mother. We have two babies! Richard Buleigh Call III (little Richie) and Sophia Christina Call (Sophie). I came right to grad school after Utah State so I've been a student since high school. I've worked as an actor during my summers, and that's what I plan to do when I'm done here. I enrolled at CSI where I graduated in 2002 RN degree. I started working at Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert. While in my last semester of school, I was setup on a blind date and then married Jared Bingham. After shortly being married we bought a house in Rupert where we are still currently living. Jared works for Minidoka Irrigation District where he is the assistant water master. In 2007 we became parents to Abigail Rose. We are just enjoying our little family. finished a B.A. Music from BSU Spring 2004. I will finish a Master's of Music Ed from The University of New Mexico in Fall of 2009.

I am a professional Mariachi violinist, and singer. I am currently performing with Mariachi Nuevo Mexico in Albuquerque. We have a few cds, which are very good. I am working on a solo album project that will most likely be released this summer.

I have a NM teaching license for k through 12th grade music. I'm having too much fun being a professional Mariachi, so I don't have a full-time teaching position. I am a half-time Mariachi violin teacher at a dual language title 1 elementary. I am also a clinician for area orchestra festivals. My master's thesis is based on topics in Mariachi Education.

I currently live in Albuquerque's South Valley, aka "little Juarez" with my dog Cuba and I love it. I miss Idaho every day!!! You can't get any decent potatoes down here in the desert.

We currently live in West Jordan, Utah and Simon works for the Jordan School District in the Special Education department as a teacher specialist. I am a stay at home mom and love every minute of it. We have one daughter, Kajsa (Swedish name and spelling, pronounced Kai-sa), who will be 2 in March 2008 and another girl due February 10, 2008.

I attended CSI for 2 years, dancing on the dance team there. While I was at CSI I met my husband Josh Barnes. We have been married since May of 2000. We have 3 kids, Kelsie (almost 6), Kamrin (3), and Kyler (6 weeks). I finished my degree at Boise State and worked for the Idaho Department of Corrections until last March. I now stay home and help my husband with our Residential General Contracting business in Twin Falls. This keeps me pretty busy, but in my spare time I also coach the dance team at our local high school. I enjoy traveling (when I can), spending time with family and good friends, and being in the outdoors.

I went to and graduated for BYU where I met my wife Kristi. She went to high school in Sandy, UT (Alta High, 02). We were married in May of 2005. We currently live in Herriman, UT, a small but growing town nestled in the southwest corner of Salt Lake County. I'm working for a dental products company called Ultadent Products in South Jordan, UT. I work in the Research and Development department there doing exactly what the department name says, researching current dental products and helping in the development of new and improved ones. I'm also pining over the decision of whether or not I want to attend graduate school. My wife Kristi is the design-coordinator for a Salt Lake based homebuilder, McArthur Homes. We recently have added the addition of our first child into our family. On November 6 our daughter, Marina Mae Allen was born. Shane and I met at Utah State University (GO AGGIES)in November '01 and were engaged 4 weeks later. We are both work at Primary Childrens Medical Center in SLC. He is a Respiratory Therapist in the PICU (mostly)and I am a Registered Nurse on the Infant Medical Surgical Unit. We built a home in Stansbury Park, Utah and have been here for almost 2 years.

I attended Utah State University where I met my husband, Brent Hillman. We were married in December of 2002. I graduated with my BS degree in horticulture, minoring in business the Spring of 2003. We then moved back to Southeastern Idaho where we have been farming ever since. My husband and I own a custom harvesting operation. We primarily deal with forages such as hay and corn. I have enjoyed farm life and appreciate being able to help on the farm. We have 2 children, Hudson (2 1/2) and Dalanie (3 months.) Besides my helping on the farm, I am able to stay home with the kids. It is a great blessing in my life and they teach me so much.
I enjoy aerobics,photography, cooking, gardening, and thrifting. I have learned to operate heavy equipment and drive semi truck (out of necessity on the farm.) I am looking forward to having our ten year reunion and am seeking volunteers to help me pull the event off. If you are interested, please leave a comment.

We were in Des Moines for the last two years where I attended Des Moines University's medical school. We really liked it there but it is nice to be closer to our kids' grandparents. We have two boys.
